ADVENTURERS PROGRAM

ADVENTURERS is for children entering grades 7 or 8 in the fall. Adventurers is a two-week program consisting of day trips and a four-night camping trip. Campers need to enroll for a minimum of one session, and can sign up for additional sessions as well. This unique program is a combination of adventure, recreational, and educational activities. Campers are encouraged to try new challenges, learn outdoor skills, and gain self-awareness in a safe, supportive environment.
During the first week, campers participate in various activities which may include the ropes course, canoeing, hiking, kayaking, rock-climbing, water parks, and beaches. Campers leave by van each morning from Camp West Woods with two counselors for that day’s trip. They return to camp in the afternoon in time for the regular 4:00 pick-up (except during the four-night trip). There are different destinations for the various activities and overnights each session. The second week features a five-day, four-night camping trip with a specific theme (see SESSIONS page for specific information)

Limit: 12 campers per session.
