    What to leave home

Your camper will be in an outdoor environment that involves lots of walking and dirty play. We ask that your camper wear comfortable clothing and shoes every day. Sneakers are the only foot attire that campers are allowed to wear. Flip flop type shoes may be worn in and around the pool area only. Please make sure to dress your camper in a comfortable manner, because they will be very active.

  • Health Advisor and Camp Nurse
Under Board of Health Regulations, we have both a Health Advisor and an on-site Camp Nurse. The health advisor has reviewed and approved our policies and the Camp Nurse enforces those policies. Our camp nurse is a school nurse who will administer medication and tend to all cuts and scrapes kids may get at camp. You will get a note home for minor incidents and we will call you immediately for any major incidents. All medication must be in original containers with the child’s name and date of birth. All medications must be signed in to the camp nurse. If your child needs medication during camp, or you have questions, please call 781-341-4424 or e-mail lindsay@campwestwoods.com and we can schedule a meeting with the nurse prior to your child coming to camp. The nurse’s office is located in the white pre-school building.
  • In the “Term of Enrollment”, it states that refunds are not given after May 1st. However, we can discuss your situation on an individual basis to come to an agreement if your child decides that they no longer want to attend camp.
  • When it rains, campers go to their individual bunks and have group activities, we have all camp activities in the gym and sometimes, play in the rain!
  • If you know your camper will be absent, please notify the Day Camp Office at 781-341-4424. If we have not heard from you by 10 am, we will call the parent to verify the absence. If you need to pick your child up early, we ask that you inform the office before 12pm that day.
