GYMNASTICS CAMP, designed for gymnasts entering grades 2-10 who have had prior gymnastics experience, shares facilities with Camp West Woods.  An extension of the Academy of Gymnastics school-year program, the camp trains boys and girls to develop their full gymnastics potential.  Campers spend approximately 50% of each day in the gym, participating in stretching, conditioning, and learning and refining skills on all of the pieces of equipment.  The remainder of the day is spent outside of the gym, where campers enjoy both swim lessons and free swim, as well as selected other camp activities (ropes course, dance, arts & crafts, etc.).  The Gymnastics Camp offers occasional special events and field trips throughout the summer, including a late night where the gymnasts have the opportunity to perform for their families.

The Director of the Gymnastics Camp is David Cook, a head coach at the Academy of Gymnastics.   All of the Gymnastics Camp Staff have many years of gymnastics experience.

Gymnastics Camp is divided into four 2-week sessions.  Campers need to attend a minimum of one 2-week session (but can attend any additional weeks as well).
