MIDDLE CAMPThe MIDDLE CAMP is for children entering grades 1- 4 in the fall. This well-balanced program includes sports activities (each week a different sport is featured), cooperative games and group challenges, drama, gymnastics, ropes course activities, and much more (please see the Activities page for a complete list of offerings). All campers receive daily Red Cross swim instruction by our certified staff, and enjoy a recreational swim period in the afternoon.

The camp day is divided into eight 40-minute periods, so the campers have the opportunity to experience many different activities every day. In addition, campers have an elective period in the afternoon where they can choose which activity to attend, based on their interests.

In Middle Camp, every Friday is a special theme day. Past themes have included Disney Day, Construction Day, Olympics Party, Science Fair Day, and Superhero Day. In addition, field trips (grade 3 and higher) and late nights are scheduled throughout the summer.

Each camper is assigned to a camp group (based on grade) that is led by two counselors. Our staff, many of whom are teachers or pursuing careers in education, are selected based on their maturity, experience, warmth, and ability to relate to young children.

All campers are expected to follow the camp rules and be able to regulate their own behavior. If you think your child will need extra assistance at camp in order to have a positive experience, please call to speak with us before camp begins.
