UPPER CAMPThe UPPER CAMP is for campers entering grades 5-8 in the fall. This well-balanced program includes sports activities (each week a different sport is featured), rock wall climbing, campfire cooking, theater, gymnastics, ropes course challenges, and much more. See our Activities page for more info. All campers receive daily Red Cross swim instruction by our certified staff, and enjoy a recreational swim period in the afternoon.

The camp day is divided into eight 40-minute periods, so the campers have the opportunity to experience many different activities every day.

The Upper Camp program is designed to meet the needs of adolescents. We understand that many of these children have been at camp since they were young, so we strive to create an age-appropriate program that includes new and creative activities.

The counselors who work in Upper Camp are selected based on their maturity and experience in working with this population. Campers in Upper Camp participate in special programs, field trips, athletic events (such as track-letics and Olympics week), carnivals, and the camp dance.

All campers are expected to follow the camp rules and be able to regulate their own behavior. If you think your child will need extra assistance at camp in order to have a positive experience, please call to speak with us before camp begins.
